Lightbringer

Inspired by the concept of Lucifer as the “light bringer” and its associations with stars, galaxies, and even the “morning star,” this animation comes through my own interpretation of biblical stories and depictions. Drawing from historical depictions of Lucifer as a dragon-like creature, the Light Bringer spends the day absorbing the sun’s energy before transforming at dusk into a living constellation. As night falls, he ascends into the sky, releasing the stored sunlight in a radiant explosion of starlight that scatters across the darkness like a supernova.
